From the Middle School
Welcome to Middle School in Week 9. It has been a hive of activity as Year 8 students took off on their Outdoor Education program at Camp Somerset where they will camp along the Colo River. There was plenty of excitement and a bit of nervous anticipation as students headed off early on Monday morning. I have had the pleasure of accompanying them for this time and have been so impressed by their capacity to embrace opportunities and step up.
A reminder that the plan is for students to arrive back at James Kelso Field on at the College on Friday afternoon in line with regular afternoon dismissal at 3.20pm. In the event there are any unforeseeable adjustments to times, an SMS alert will be sent to update families.
Our Year 7s have been busy preparing for the Garden Party this coming saturday 16 September. There are many gift baskets that we cannot wait to share with everyone. Please make sure you come and visit the Middle School stall.
Congratulations to Emma Ng (Year 7) who competed at the 2023 NSW Junior State SC Championships on Saturday 9 September. Emma won gold for the Freestyle and Medley relay and won silver for the 100m Backstroke. Well done Emma.
