Last week saw the celebration of Year 12 finishing their Trials with the ‘Shout Out to Spring’ Picnic. The students enjoyed some time together with their Compass classmates, signing their memory books and naming their Pymble teddies! We also had the Barbie Box on hand for plenty of selfies. Congratulations to all Year 12 students on their successful conclusion of these examinations. It is now time to ‘get back on the horse’ and recommit to study and revision schedules in preparation for their final HSC examinations, which are held early in Term 4.

All parents and students should have been given access to the Year 12 Graduation and Valete Handbook, which includes information on final end of Term 3 graduation events, academic advice and key dates, as well as key dates and tertiary information from the Futures Team.

Year 12 HSC Music Students’ Concert

We all enjoyed a wonderful evening of music last Friday night, as the HSC Music students performed sections of their pieces. The diversity of talent on display was truly amazing – from vocal pieces through to items on the viola, oboe and French horn, just to name a few. The students’ performances are clearly based on many hours of rehearsal and fine-tuning, and they can all be very proud of themselves. Many thanks too to their teachers and tutors who have provided such valuable support.

Garden Party

All Year 12 students have been given a book of raffle tickets to sell for Garden Party, in support of The Smith Family and Dignity. Please support your daughters, where possible.

Year 11 students will be serving Devonshire Tea on the day – please drop by the David McFarlane Centre for some delicious scones and a hot drink!

Year 11

We are looking forward to welcoming Year 11 students back into their normal school routine next week, as they finish their last Yearly Examinations on Friday. The students can be very proud of the maturity and good sense they have displayed over the past fortnight.
