Agriculture Careers Talk by University of Sydney
Last week, as part of Science Week, we had a Guest Speaker from the University of Sydney’s Agriculture Faculty visit and speak with the Year 12 Agriculture students about two new Agriculture courses being offered at USYD from 2024. Professor Stephen Cattle informed the girls (and Futures Team staff) with details about the two courses – B. Agric Sc and B. Agric Sc (Honors) – including the work students would do in research at USYD’s research facilities at their 5000 ac Narrabri farm.
It was a very informative session which was warmly received by the girls, and following the talks, Senu Edirisinghe (Agriculture Captain) presented Prof Cattle with a small token of appreciation.
Sydney Careers and Employment Expo 2023
The Sydney Careers and Employment Expo is coming up from Friday 8 to Saturday 9 September at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park.
The expo is packed with free advice where you can:

Current Year 12 students applying to UK and USA
All Year 12 students for 2023 who are applying to either UK and USA universities are to meet Mrs O’Kelly and Mrs Maksimovic at MBS time on Friday 25 August in the Library Learning Space.
