Multiplex Jumpstart Program – Years 9 to 11
Multiplex – a leading global construction company are offering an exciting work experience opportunity called the Jumpstart Program. The program is open to all current Year 9-11 students and will commence with a taster session in October this year, and then commence in 2024, running for 6 months.
The Jumpstart Program is a unique mentoring initiative, which is designed to attract females to the industry. Students will be given a holistic view of the construction industry and the diverse range of career paths it has to offer. Working in construction is not just hard hats and steel toe cap boots. Careers covered will include architecture, project management, procurement and quantity surveying.
The program will include interactive discipline based workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, site visits and mentoring sessions. The time commitment is 2-3 hours of Workshops and 1-3 hours of panel discussion (out of school hours) in Semester 1 2024.
Students will be given the opportunity to join the Multiplex delivery team on the iconic NEXTDC S3 Data Centre in Artarmon.

All students in Year 9 to 11 will receive an email from Mr Hume with further information and an Expression of Interest Form. Interested applicants are to submit this by Friday 25 August to lhume@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au.
