Water Polo

Pymble Opens Water Polo team competed in the grand final on Friday 16 June in the Northern Suburbs Competition at Warringah Aquatic Centre.

Pymble went down to Brigidine College 8 to 5.  Our Pymble lifted each quarter and applied themselves the whole game. This team should be proud of their improvements this season, their growth as a team was displayed week in, week out. 

Our Pymble Intermediate teams both came away with two strong wins on Monday 19 June.  Pymble Blue won against Brigidine College – White, 9 goals to 4 and Pymble Red to Redlands 15 goals to 2.  Well done to all players, this competition will continue through Term 3 with finals played in September.

Special mention to Zara Cooke (Year 9) and Kiera Mironova (Year 10) who are currently touring over in Europe in the Australian U16 Water Polo team, the team has been very successful on the first leg of the trip in the Netherlands, best of luck on the second part, with their tour of Hungary.
