From the Middle School

This week in Middle School the girls spent time with Year 12 students as part of a mentoring initiative: You’ve Got A Friend In Me! The purpose was to build relationships across year groups and foster community. We also held our final Year 7 and Year 10 Peer Support activity with a shared barbecue on Gloucester Lawn. There is always great value in providing opportunities for the girls to spend time with their older Pymble sisters. Our hope is that these relationships will continue to grow across Semester 2.

Well done to Ava Chrsitofides, who completed the 2023 Kuring-Gai Chase Fun Run. Ava completed the fun run with her brother, not only finishing 45th place but also raising $375 for a great cause. Ava did a great job representing Pymble and giving back to the community.

I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. The girls and staff are very ready for this break. I would like to thank everyone in the Middle School for their work to support the girls across Semester 1: Mrs Budd – Deputy Head of Middle School, Mr Heggie and Ms Mimmo – Heads of Year 7 and Ms Ventura and Ms Attley – Heads of Year 8, and our amazing MS Administration staff: Mrs Sibug, Ms Volonakis and Mrs Bastes.
