This has become an annual fun event at Avondale, for Language Arts girls in Years 10, 11 and 12 and Year 12 parents. This year it will be held on 21 June from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Please note that no denim is permitted and no very short skirts. Our committee is promoting elegant winter white dress code, with a touch of pink! Just an idea!

Debating
Congratulations to our Virtual Archdale debaters. This week our seniors had a BYE. See you all next term to complete the season.
Archdale
Archdale main comp debaters visited Abbotsleigh last week. On Tuesday 13 June, Pymble hosted Loreto Kirribilli for Round 5. Rounds 6 and 7 will resume next term. Year 10 will have a Round 5 make up on 8 August, due to the clash with subject selection evening this week.
Sydney Social Debating Competition (SSD)
SSD competition will run tomorrow at Pymble from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Please meet in C10 again this week. We are pleased to offer this developmental level comp to our 7 to 12 girls this term. Thank you to our student coaches and our adjudicators – Becky Huang, Kayleigh Li and Mr Daniel Judd. We hope to offer this comp again in Term 3. Stay tuned.
Mock Law
Mock Trial Round 3 scenarios have been released. We are prosecution v Moriah College. This trial will be held on 15 June.
A Mediation round will also be held, at Pymble, prior to the end of this term.

UN Youth NSW provides students a unique chance to develop as individuals and refine their knowledge of world issues. They provide supervised events and have a trained welfare offer on site. Transport to and from this Saturday event is the responsibility of parents.
