2023 SMNE Winter Championships – Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June

The 2023 SMNE Winter SC Championships was a very successful weekend in and out of the pool.  This is a special meet where we have everyone from the club: 8 years to opens competing together in the one arena. We ensured we Posca penned up for the occasion with some spirited war paint.

The Pymble program had 43 Pymble students including three Alumni, plus 30 external swimmers representing Knox Pymble Swim Club. All swimmers contributed heavily to the overall points score to take the win by over 3500 points.

The coaches were extremely impressed with the results achieved. Once again, the bar has been raised with the quality of swimming across all our levels, achieving a phenomenal 73% personal best (PB) times.

Well done to Coach Andrea and Coach Michelle with all Mini and Star swimmers showing great attitude towards their races and enthusiasm on the pool deck.

Big congratulations to Sara’s Cadet squad achieving Metro and State age QT’s in various events. Sara is extremely proud of how you extended yourselves to be better by speaking to and watching the Pride squad swimmers’ race with enthusiasm, care and open mind. Well done for taking the opportunity to learn and bond with your fellow club mates.

Thank you to our Pride and Engine swimmers for their leadership and role modelling to the younger swimmers. Helping to inspire and show the way forward through our Pymble Swimming competitive pathway.

Good job to Steve and Sport squad swimmers for performing well and deserved PB’s.

This has been an epic start to our winter season. Keep up the training and start to prepare for NSW Metropolitan Championship in the Winter school holidays.

Thank you to the club committee and parents who helped over the weekend. These meets cannot run without you and your continued support and involvement.
