Thank you to the wonderful students from Junior School Choir, Capella, Year 8 Elective Music and the Stage Band who performed at the Mothers’ Day morning tea last Friday. The weather was superb, and the girls provided a suitable accompaniment to the joy that our mothers provide to our girls.
Tonight, the College String Quartet will provide a wonderful backdrop of music for the Alumni Event at KPMG in the Barangaroo. Thanks to Mr Rossman for preparing Annie Luo, Claire Lee, Charlotte Wykes and Sitian Chen for this event.
On Monday 22, Tuesday 23, and Wednesday 24 May we will having Ensemble Photos. Girls are to change into their Performance Uniforms (red jackets and black pants) with hair ribbons.
Instruments are also required for these photos. I apologise if this clashes with other activities. Please note the following times for the ensembles.

This coming Saturday: Choir Performances
The Junior Cappella and Pymble Chorale vocal ensembles have been invited to perform at a special concert with The Humming Song Choir. This event will be held in the College Chapel on Saturday 20 May, 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
All members of the College community are warmly invited. Please see the poster below for booking details. This is a ticketed event, and all proceeds will go to supporting the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Woman’s Shelter. Both vocal ensembles need to arrive at 2.20pm to rehearse the combined and individual items.

Wednesday 21 June – Concerto Competition finals and Ensemble Concert
Paul Dyer, AO (Artistic Director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra) returns to the College to adjudicate the finals of the Concerto Competition. There will be an audience vote as well after the performances from Ashleigh O’Young (Year 12) on Clarinet and Gabrielle Zhong (Year 12) on cello.
Our ensembles will also be performing for you. The concert will commence at 6.30pm and there will be a short interval.
