Equestrian

In the last few weeks of term and into the holidays, Madeleine Gaden (Year 7) competed in her Equestrian discipline of Show Riding on her Galloway, Xtra Riches of Sefton, lovingly called “Rooster”. She competed at the Equestrian NSW Show Horse Spectacular, Show Horse Council of Australasia Grand Nationals and Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Madeleine and Rooster had great success throughout the three competitions winning and placing in Child, Open and Riding Championships.

Their biggest achievement was at the Show Horse Council Of Australasia Grand Nationals, where they won the Childs Grand National Galloway Championship for a second year in a row.  They also competed and amazingly won the Grand National Open Large Galloway, with Madeleine being the youngest to ride in the event at 12 years old, competing against adults and professionals.
