This week, the Junior School celebrated Book Week with a fantastic parade, inspiring students to embrace the joy of reading and discover new stories. It was also wonderful to see the courage of our Year 1 and 2 performers on stage.
Meanwhile, Year 2 students became scientists for a "Windows into Learning" session, exploring mixtures and materials with their families. We also look ahead to some important dates, including the upcoming Reading Comprehension workshop and the Years 3-6 'Swap 'til you drop' event.
Middle School had a busy week with Book Week celebrations and a visit from author Amy Doak.
Year 7 students are off to support our athletes at the IGSA Athletics Championships this Friday, while our leaders are getting ready to welcome visitors from Millingbimbi School next week.

This week, we reflect on the resilience of our students, from the Term 3 Vision Valley adventurers who faced persistent rain, to our athletes representing Pymble at the IGSA carnival. We also celebrate the power of student voices, whether in the Patricia Burgoyne Public Speaking Competition or through innovative ideas presented at the I-WiSH program. Finally, we share highlights from the Commerce Enrichment Tour in Melbourne, where students gained hands-on experience in business and economics.
Congratulations to our Year 12 students on completing their Trial HSC exams. This is a huge achievement, and we encourage them to use their teachers' feedback to prepare for their final exams.
Two of our students, Mika and I, had the amazing opportunity to represent Australia in the U19 Women's eight rowing team at the World Championships in Lithuania. It was an incredible experience.
We welcomed our Year 12 Lang girls back to the College this week, and we're looking forward to their farewell Chapel Service on 25 September. Boarders also enjoyed a nutrition talk, a baking class, and socials with Knox and Riverview. A huge congratulations to Year 9's Charlotte, our Boarder of the Week.
