Dance
NAIDOC Week
We were honoured to witness a powerful performance by our First Nations Dance group at the Secondary School NAIDOC assembly on Tuesday, presenting their student-devised work comprised of both traditional and contemporary movement. Their piece was a moving expression of culture and identity through dance.
On Wednesday, the group further shared their knowledge with some of our youngest learners, teaching Year 1 students the traditional Berry Picking dance. Their leadership, creativity, and commitment to sharing culture enriched our whole school community and made this NAIDOC Week truly memorable.
