NSW Secondary Schools Teams Racing Regatta

Over the past weekend our Pymble Sailing team took part in the NSW Teams Racing that was hosted by Woollahra Sailing Club.

After some tough conditions on day one, our Sailors moved into division two. On day two, the team got off to a great start after beating Ascham White in their first race. The team went on to win four of their six races and ultimately finished second in division two, and third overall Girls School team.  The team showed great heart and resilience to bounce back on day two.

Well done to the following students who took part in the Pittwater Regatta: Chantelle Wu (Year 12 and Sailing Captain), Charlotte Wykes (Year 11), Clio Moran (Year 12), Daisy Stoodley-Williamson (Year 9), Layne Phillips (Year 9), and Simone Bennett (Year 9).

A special thank you to our leaving Year 12 Sailors, Chantelle, Clio, and Penelope whose dedication and input into Sailing has been instrumental to the development and growth of the Pymble Sailing Program.
