2023 igsa Swimming Carnival

The 2023 igsa Swimming Carnival was held on Friday 18 March at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. Leading into their competition, our swimmers had their backs against the wall, knowing such strong competition was ahead. Instead of backing down, they rose to the occasion and put on a great display of teamwork and resilience. Whilst we finished a close second in the overall point score, we had so many wins on the day. This year was our first overnight Swimming camp out at the Collaroy which set the scene for how far each athlete will push themselves for the swimmer next to them. This was evident come the relay finals, with athletes digging deep and winning six out of the seven possible relays!

Additionally, a very special mention needs to be made to our Swimming Captain Bella Zhang (Year 12) who was crowned the 2023 Senior igsa Swimming Champion.
