Pymble Parents Association (PPA) Events

We really enjoyed welcoming our new parents (and all Year 7 parents) on site today for our annual New Parents High Tea. Many thanks to the PPA for hosting the event, as well as the school executive members who were in attendance.

In the coming months we are looking forward to the Trivia Night on Saturday 3 June – a fun and popular parent event on the College calendar. This year’s theme is ‘Movie Stars’ which leaves plenty of possibilities. Pymble parents are well known for their flamboyant costumes, and we expect to see plenty of characters on the night, from Marvel to Cleopatra and beyond.

We also have a cultural culinary event in Term 2, this year celebrating the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival on Wednesday 21 June (second last day of term). The evening will feature traditional dishes such as zongzi, craft and children’s activities and a range of performances.

In 2024, we will be celebrating Diwali for our cultural event. We are excited to share a different cultural opportunity each year at which all students and their families are welcome.

Further details and booking links for both these whole-school events will be shared with the community in the coming weeks.

Careers Expo – support by Pymble Alumni

Pymble is hosting its annual Careers Expo on Monday 3 April from 5.30pm. We look forward to welcoming more than 20 universities and employers, as well as 30 alumni mentors, to counsel students and parents on career opportunities available to them once the girls finish their final exams. Save the date: Alumni Networking Event

We are delighted to announce our annual Alumni Networking Event is back and will be held on Thursday 18 May 2023. If you are a senior leader in your industry, organisation or field, we would love for you to register as a mentor and be one of the many professionals willing to provide our alumni with vital connections and career advice. More information and booking details to follow soon. Click here to watch the highlights of last year’s event.

Focus Groups

Thank you to the parents and carers that attended the focus groups in Week 6 and 7. More focus groups will be scheduled for next term.
