Reports of dangerous driving near the College
We have recently been advised of dangerous and illegal driving practices on Pymble Avenue.
Vehicles have been observed dropping and picking up Pymble students on private driveways close to the pedestrian crossing at Grey House Walk. These drivers are then reversing into oncoming traffic to exit the driveways.
This is dangerous and illegal driving behaviour that puts the safety of our children, local drivers and pedestrians at risk.
If you are dropping or picking up children in this area, please only do so when you are safely parked on Pymble Avenue.
Of course, we expect all members of our school community to respect the law and road rules, particularly in school zones, at all times. Ku-ring-gai Council has also advised that they are increasing the number of rangers who will issue fines for any illegal parking or dangerous driving.
It is very important that we work together as a community to protect our children, each other and our fellow citizens by driving safely and with courtesy.
Thank you for your co-operation and support.
