Recent Representative Success

Congratulations to Kiera Mironova (Year 12) and Zara Cooke (Year 10) on their outstanding performances at the 2024 National State Championships five-day event in Queensland from Thursday 26 to Monday 30 September. Kiera and Zara were part of the under 17 NSW State water polo team who came away with a silver medal. These results are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of both girls.

Following the success of the 2024 National State Championships on the Gold Coast, Water Polo Australia announced the athletes who have been provisionally selected in the under 18 Girls National Age Group Program (NAGP) squad for 2025. The NAGP is designed to prepare athletes, coaches and referees for Australian representative opportunities. The NAGP takes a holistic approach, supporting personal development and preparation of the whole person while identifying, supporting and developing athletes in preparation for the relevant international age group events and preparing for future selection in Senior National Teams.

A massive congratulations to Kiera and Zara on their selection in the under 18 Girls NAGP squad for 2025.
