Ryde Eisteddfod 

I am thrilled to announce that our talented drama students delivered exceptional performances at this year’s Ryde Eisteddfod, showcasing their dedication, creativity, and passion for the arts.

‘Ghosts of Pineville’

Bhuvika Bhatia (Year 5), Emily Pu (Year 5) and Angelina Yang (Year 5) captivated the audience with their haunting performance of ‘Ghosts of Pineville’. Their portrayal earned them a Highly Commended award, a testament to their hard work and talent. 

‘Jasper Jones’

Penny Xing (Year 7) and Annabel Zhao (Year 7) also received a Highly Commended award for their compelling performance of ‘Jasper Jones’. Their powerful interpretation of the story’s themes and their strong on-stage chemistry showcased their exceptional acting abilities. 

‘Two Weeks with the Queen’

Annabel Zhao (Year 7) and Neve Anderson’s (Year 7) outstanding performance of ‘Two Weeks with the Queen’ was another standout of the Eisteddfod, earning them a Highly Commended award also.

I am immensely proud of all our students who participated in the Ryde Eisteddfod. Their dedication to their art and their ability to perform with such excellence is inspiring. 

Congratulations to Bhuvika, Emily, Angelina, Annabel, Penny, Annabelle and Neve for their fantastic achievements!
