During the first week of the school holidays, our competitive divers attended and competed in the National Age Championships in Melbourne.

It was an incredible week of diving by all competitors. Some of the events had 45 divers competing and took over three hours to complete. To maintain concentration and focus for this length of time is a credit to all divers, coaches, and judges.

Our team had the opportunity to train in outstanding facilities, increase their repertoire of skills and competition experience and make new and lasting friendships with competitors from all states.

Congratulations to our Pymble divers and coaching team who contributed to an outstanding week of competition.

The results were as follows:

11 and Under

Zara Ware (Year 5) – 1st National Champion 1m

Emma Ware (Year 4) – 8th 1m

Jasmine Smith (Year 4) – 12th 1m and 7th 13&u synchronised 3m

Freya Holland (Year 4) – 13th 1m

12/13 Years

Lillie Oldfield (Year 7) – 19th 1m and 7th 13&u synchronised 3m

14/15 Years

Leila Rich (Year 9) – 23rd1m and 3m 22nd, 20th 14&0 synchronised 3m

Coaching Expertise

Congratulations to Pymble coach Charlotte Moore on her outstanding success at the Nationals winning two silver medals and one bronze medal in her respective events.

These championships would not be possible for our expert coaching team of Maddison Pullinger, Ryle McKinstry, and Mrs Lang.

CIS Championships
