Softball
Our four Pymble Softball teams were back to battling the wet weather on Saturday 24 February. Pymble Senior Firsts competed against the current front runners, Barker College. Despite the tricky conditions, the team put up a great fight against a formidable team. Our Senior Seconds faced Abbotsleigh’s Senior Firsts, and although our players hit six runs in our last innings, the score had to revert to the bottom of the previous innings.
Round 4 of competition on Saturday 2 March, our Senior Firsts will face Brigidine again, with a chance to overturn the score from the previous game. Our Senior Seconds play against our own Senior Thirds in a battle of Pymble vs Pymble, whilst our Junior Firsts will compete against Brigidine’s Junior Firsts.

Senior Firsts Match Report – Annabel Davidson (Year 12), Softball Captain
On Saturday 24 February, the Pymble Senior Firsts softball team played against the Barker Firsts softball team. The rainy conditions created a challenge for Pymble, and whilst losing 11 to 2, the enthusiasm and effort on the field was exceptional. Well done to Gabriella Nutman (Year 9), for contributing to the score and successfully defending the 2nd base. Shoutout to Verity Haslam (Year 10) for her amazing catching skills and batting display. Congratulations on a great team effort!
