Rowing
Schoolgirl Head of the River
This Sunday 3 March 2024 marks an important day for our Pymble rowers – the NSW Schoolgirl Head of the River. This competition is held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre – the venue where the 2000 Olympic rowing games were held. Pymble rowers have been working hard throughout Term 4, January camps and Term 1 to make their boats as fast as possible ahead of this final race of the season.
This week, the team will be getting ready by applying those finishing touches in their final training sessions of the season, including making supporters signs together on Wednesday lunchtime!
The atmosphere on Head of the River Day is one of excitement and ultimate team support. We can’t wait to see our supporters coming out on the Pymble Pulse supporter bus there to cheer on our girls as they fly down the course for the Navy, Scarlet and White!
