Softball
Round 1 of the Invitation Independent Schools Softball Competition took place on Saturday 10 February with four Pymble teams competing.
On a rainy morning, our softballers fought admirably in testing conditions. Three of our games were played against Loreto Normanhurst, with our Pymble teams finishing with two draws and a win.
Our Senior 3rd team, Pymble 3, were up against the Abbotsleigh Senior 1st team and played with Pymble courage and determination. Although the scoreline was a nine-run difference, this didn’t dampen the team’s spirits, holding their heads high and singing the Pymble war cry.
Week 2 (Saturday 17 February) sees our Senior 1sts and Senior 2nds play at home against Barker and Abbotsleigh. Our Senior 3rds travel up the coast to face Central Coast Grammar, while our Junior 1sts travel take on Barker College.
