Overseas Medical Experiences for High School Students
Please note this is an external provider advertisement and not a program endorsed by Pymble Ladies’ College.
For any students keen to pursue studies in medicine and healthcare, Projects Abroad is an organiser of service and volunteer programs overseas.
These programs are designed for students in years 10, 11, and 12 (11-13 in NZ) and run in our summer holiday and over the mid-year break. They are ideal for individuals or groups of friends.
Projects Abroad has been running these programs for over 15 years. They are very popular with students from across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and North America.
Our most popular High School Special Medicine option is the Nepal program. You can download a leaflet outlining this project by clicking here.
These programs also run in countries such as Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Tanzania, and the Philippines.
Students will spend time in hospitals, community health settings, and workshops with local doctors. These projects are a fantastic first step into a career in healthcare within a group of likeminded students. Full 24/7 supervision and care is provided by the Projects Abroad local staff.
