Congratulations to Sarah Hunter (Alumni 2021) for being chosen to step into Sam Kerr’s shoes in the upcoming international matches for the Matildas against Canada. The initial game is scheduled for this Friday 1 December. Sarah’s journey to the Matildas is a testament to her determination and resilience. Overcoming various challenging injuries, including hip operations and ACL injuries during her teenage years, Sarah’s unwavering commitment, concentration, and refusal to give up have led her to the honour of representing her country on the global stage. It’s a remarkable achievement to step into the shoes of arguably one of Australia’s greatest footballers.
