Celebrating our teams’ exceptional performance!

It’s with immense pride and joy that we reflect on the outstanding performance of our teams at the recent state championship. Their focus, teamwork, and spirit were exemplary, clearly demonstrating the dedication and skill that define our robotics community.

Volunteer Contributions: A Pillar of Success

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Helen Zheng (Year 8) and Joyce Li (Year 7) for their invaluable contributions as volunteers. Helen played a pivotal role in queuing for the VEX IQ Elementary School, earning high praise for her effectiveness. Joyce, in her crucial role, supported our VRC Middle School students with scouting, exemplifying the collaborative spirit of our community.

Team 65100R: A Stellar Performance

Team 65100R, a name that resonates with dedication and talent, secured a commendable 6th place. Their strategic alliance with team 1940B Poyo from Knox was a testament to their tactical acumen. This collaborative effort underlines the essence of our robotics program – unity and mutual support.

Team 65100A: Rising to the Challenge

Team 65100A Defenestration, in partnership with team 4613J Fever Dream from Barker, showcased resilience and skill. Although their journey concluded in the quarter-finals against the eventual Tournament Champions, their performance was nothing short of inspiring.

National Championships

Five teams (65100A, 65100B, 65100F, 65100K and 65100R) have qualified for the National Championship in Adelaide. This is a result of the teams Skill Challenges rankings, where teams have one minute to complete the game individually through coding and driving.

Please congratulate and support these teams as they proceed into the next exciting step in their 2024 season.
