Pymble Elite Sportswomen’s Program

This term, Pymble Ladies’ College is delighted to have Samantha Dale on board as one of our esteemed Sports Co-ordinators. Sam is also assisting in the PESP space for Years 7 to 10. In PESP, Sam engages in mentoring conversations with our student-athletes, offering valuable insights, and assisting students with their Individual Performance Plans, focussing on both short and long-term performance goals.

The article below looks at Sam’s journey, chronicling her rise from facing initial setbacks as an under-14s and 15s athlete at the NSW State Championships, where she didn’t make the top eight in long or triple jump. Through perseverance and hard work, Sam has evolved into a force in the world of Track and Field, representing Australia at World Championships and the Commonwealth Games. Sam has her sights set on an even greater goal. Currently she is navigating the path to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Sam’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.”
