Match Report from Softball Captain Eloise Muller
The Senior Firsts Softball team travelled to Central Coast Grammar School on Saturday to play their top team. Pymble beat Central Coast Grammar School 12 to 4 against the tough conditions of playing on their Astro Turf Hockey field. Despite this, our players played a very memorable game of Softball including but not limited to; Sophie Christopher (Year 12) catching a fly ball securing the third out needed for Pymble to bat again, Maddie Coman (Year 12) hitting a ground ball ensuring three players made it home, then running home herself on the next hit. Pymble’s very own Sports Prefect – Rhedyn Wong (Year 12) hitting a home run in the second innings and Freya Howes (Year 10) catching multiple players out on the third strike as catcher. None of this would have been possible without the skills and support of all the players on the team but the Most Valued Player of the match was Miki Culver (Year 12) getting four outs at first base ensuring Pymble’s win. Congratulations on a great game and thank you to Central Coast Grammar School for having us.
