We are excited to see our students return to training and competition, and look forward to another year of strong participation, teamwork and success. With a full calendar of fixtures and carnivals ahead, 2026 promises to be an exciting and rewarding year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the 2026 Sport Booklet, which will outline several exciting updates to our sport program for this year as well as key dates for 2026. The booklet will also provide important information about a new process for students and parents to select the sports they will commit to throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sports Draw Saturday 31 January:  <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/Sports Draw 31 January 2026.xlsx\">http:\/\/Sports Draw 31 January 2026.xlsx<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ISA Summer Season<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reminder that <strong>Round 7 <\/strong>of the summer ISA season begins on <strong>Saturday 31 January. <\/strong>There will be training on Thursday 29 January <strong>for 1<sup>st<\/sup> Teams only<\/strong>. All other summer sport teams will return to training as per their schedule from Week 2 onwards. All training sessions and fixtures are visible via Clipboard (students) and the Oxley App (parents).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oxley Swimming Program (Update!)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are excited to announce that we are now offering <strong>Wednesday afternoon <\/strong>Swim Training in the lead up to the Oxley College and ISA Swimming Carnivals. Training will take place from <strong>4.00pm \u2013 5.00pm at Bowral Swimming Pool. <\/strong>Students will need to make their own way to and from the pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have enlisted the help of Mitch Falvey, an experienced and highly regarded swimming coach with a strong background in developing and coaching high-level swimmers, including those competing at Commonwealth and Olympic levels. Mitch brings a professional and supportive approach to training and will focus on improving technique, fitness, and race readiness in the lead-up to the carnivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong> \u2013 <em>This program is not a \u2018learn to swim\u2019 program and will be squad style training for experienced swimmers, likely to be selected in the ISA Swim Team.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dates for Swim Training and Carnivals are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wednesday Feb 4<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; Swim Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday Feb 11<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Swim Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday Feb 18<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Swim Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday Feb 25<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Oxley College Swimming Carnival (no Swim Training)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday March 4<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Swim Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Friday March 6<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Frensham Invitational Carnival (TBC)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday March 11<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Swim Training (<em>Compulsory attendance for ISA Swimming Team for relay practice and team BBQ after the session)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ISA Swimming Carnival Tuesday March 17<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ISA and CIS Representative Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oxley College students are eligible for ISA selection in a range of pathway sports\u2014sports for which the ISA does not run a Saturday competition. These pathway sports include AFL, Baseball, Diving, Golf, Boys\u2019 Hockey, Rugby League, Sailing, Boys\u2019 Softball, Triathlon, Volleyball, and Water Polo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like your child to be considered for nomination in any of these sports, please email <a href=\"mailto:sport.admin@oxley.nsw.edu.au\"><strong>sport.admin@oxley.nsw.edu.au<\/strong><\/a> with a brief outline of their achievements and representative history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that final decisions regarding nominations are made by the Head of Sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Junior Boys and Girls Touch Football \u2013 Players Wanted!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of our Junior Boys\u2019 and Girls\u2019 Touch Football teams are seeking additional players for the second half of the ISA Summer Season. New Year 7 students, as well as students in Years 8 and 9 who are interested, are encouraged to contact <a href=\"mailto:sport.admin@oxley.nsw.edu.au\"><strong>sport.admin@oxley.nsw.edu.au<\/strong><\/a>.
