Oxley College was fortunate enough to host, Australian sports journalist Tracey Holmes on the 4th\u00a0of June. Being the third Centre for Ethics speaker this year, Tracy brought exciting new insights into the role sport plays in our changing world. Her lecture explored the impact of sport in enhancing international relations and sustaining social harmony across the globe. She shared several emotional stories from athletes all over the world overcoming hardships to continue doing what they love while making immense difference on the perception of sport internationally. Her words inspired the entire audience to pay more attention to the people behind the sports we continuously consume. On behalf of the Gibraltar society and the wider, growing Oxley community we thank Tracey Holmes for sharing her beautifully articulated perception of the importance of sport in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
