It comes down and parades, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then fades for a while. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I know how it feels, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s just like your smile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then it hovers in mists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or occasionally spits, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a magical way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It glimmers, wanders and lifts, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Encasing us in an all whimsical bliss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or on one of those crying days: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It hails from above, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chucking stones, rag tag ice made of sea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I know you could rage like this, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it never meets me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it kidnaps the sun, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And separates her rays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That glisten, this after-shine always stays, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It shimmers, it moves like your eyes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This memory lingers with me, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like frost on the grass in the morn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I savour each storm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I praise the thunder, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I marvel at the presence, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the dark stallion galloping away, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leaving footprints on my windows, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He whispers to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He whispers secrets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And he is gone the next day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would stray through the sun for you, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For rain to shine on my life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The thunder\u2019s beauty is a strange <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phenomenon to behold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I dance through the tears, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of joy and of sadness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And leap over the puddles, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because I crave this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ache for the rain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
