The theme for the 2025 Mardi Gras was <em>\u2018Free to be\u2019 <\/em>which was aimed to strive towards true LGBTQIA+, but more globally paint a picture that the fight is not over, and no one is truly free unless we all are. This year\u2019s Mardi Gras parade on March 1 consisted of over 200 floats that took over the nightlife of Sydney. It is meant to be a festive day that is full of joy and happiness. These joyous festivals are full of creativity and colour. Mardi Gras festivals are crazy, loud and full of love. Many different of activities can take place including parades and street food meals. These festivals take place in a season, not a one-time event, and are something that anyone can enjoy.
