I am also delighted to share the exciting news that the following students have been selected to showcase their work in the 2025 Portrait Prize Exhibition<\/strong> at McGlade Gallery, ACU, from 3 April – 2 May 2025<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drama<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week students in Years 9\/10 elective Drama classes participated in an incursion with the Troppo Troupe for ‘Commedia Dell’Arte’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students enjoyed an immersive experience with the Troppo Troupe who are known for their expertise in this traditional Italian theatrical style of drama. Students were introduced to the history and fundamentals of Commedia Dell’Arte, including the stock characters, improvisation techniques and physical comedy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incursion not only allowed students to engage with a rich theatrical tradition but also encouraged creativity and collaboration, leaving them with a deeper appreciation for the timeless art of physical and improvisational performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
