This year has been one of many challenges: fire, floods, storms, pandemic, isolation, uncertainty and the unknown.\u00a0 We also acknowledge the successes: the building of relationships and our learnings throughout the year. In the midst of all our challenges and successes has been God.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each year, we learn to appreciate family, friends and relationships. Father Paul Sullivan sm in a Marist Mission Centre newsletter said \u201cI believe that our desire to care for those we love will ultimately shape who we are and what we do. The story of a baby born in a stable in Bethlehem is the gift of God\u2019s care and compassion for us and our world. Jesus identifies with us by accepting our humanity and vulnerability. We are sharers in his life and mission.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">May you celebrate \u2018the gift of each other\u201d this Christmas and for the years to come.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you for your support during my time as the Religious Education Coordinator at Marist Sisters\u2019 College Woolwich.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Years 8 and 10 RE Tests Results 2022<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The results of the Years 8 and 10 RE Tests have been delayed. The College has been informed that they should be available at the beginning of the school year 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>End of Year Prayer Service<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Tuesday, we gathered as a College community to mark the end of the College year. Led by the student leaders &#8211; Bianca, Ava, Claudia, Daniella, Isabelle, Olivia, Katelyn and Madison &#8211; we celebrated the season of Advent; a season of hope.\u00a0 We gathered together in faith even though we were distanced throughout the College. The Prayer Service was a time for community prayer and personal reflection where we also acknowledged and thanked the staff members leaving the College.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I share with you the Opening Prayer of the service:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"highlight\">\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">God our Father, our life is blessed with many good gifts.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Make us truly thankful for the gifts of our sisters at the College,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for the gift of those who guide us and help us to grow to be women of courage, especially the teachers in our school.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">May we be your presence in the world in how we relate to others,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">empowered in all that we say and do.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Mis<\/em><em>s Mary Kleist, Religious Education Coordinator<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This article on College life meets The Archbishop&#8217;s Charter for Catholic Schools &#8211; Charter #1, #2<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we come to the end of the school year, we have much to give thanks and to celebrate.
