As you can appreciate, it is essential that as professionals we engage in rich and genuine discussion around the structure and composition of all classes to best meet the learning needs of our students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Communication is essential in this process, therefore any movement between classes will be communicated to the students and parents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reminder that students in mixed ability classes still have the opportunity to complete the extension assessment tasks. Flexible groupings and differentiated classwork are also ways of extending students in mixed ability classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Mrs Colreavy\u2019s Conundrum<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Five people were eating apples.
