The Church\u2019s calendar begins the month by celebrating All Saints\u2019 Day followed by All Souls\u2019 Day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"highlight\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote\">\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All Saints\u2019 Day is the feast when we commemorate all those we know who may never be publicly proclaimed on the canon or list of saints but who nonetheless are in heaven. Some of them may only be known to God Others are people whose love, sacrifice, and fidelity we have seen for ourselves and who have inspired us.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All Souls\u2019 Day is an opportunity to thank God for those who have died, and to commend some of our family and friends to God\u2019s mercy and forgiveness, while praying for healing of memories and the gift of peace.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/i><i style=\"text-align: right;font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (Preaching to the Converted, Fr Richard Leonard sj)<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2022\/11\/Screen-Shot-2022-11-01-at-12.22.31-pm.png\" data-rel=\"lightcase\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4992 size-full alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2022\/11\/Screen-Shot-2022-11-01-at-12.22.31-pm-e1667274592800.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>As a College community, this week we provided the opportunity for students and staff to take a moment in the Chapel in remembrance of those we have lost and write their name in our Remembrance Book for prayers throughout the month of November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We will also particularly remember those who have died when we pause as a nation next Friday the 11<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of the 11<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at 11:00 am to recall the end of World War One. As a College community, we will stop to mark this special day, Remembrance Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>HSC Exams \u2013 Finished!<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-31-at-12.53.15-pm.png\" data-rel=\"lightcase\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4965 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-31-at-12.53.15-pm-e1667185119464.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Our Year 12 students completed their Higher School Certificate examinations today!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They will now eagerly await their results at the end of the year. I hope each of our students have finished their examinations with a strong sense of satisfaction with their efforts.
