Students travelled to Stanwell Tops and took part in both challenging and fun activities from the leap of faith, to survivor challenges, to the giant swing, to<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> go-carting,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> team building activities and night time activities to name a few. Each activity encouraged students to step outside of their comfort zone, and that our Year 9 group did with enthusiasm and bravery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The students also spent time listening to guest speaker Glen Gerreyn from The Hopefull Institute. Glen challenged students&#8217; thoughts about themselves and their world by looking at the power of purpose, challenging limiting beliefs and becoming unstoppable. This day was full of many take aways about courage and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2022 saw the introduction of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Year 9 Courage Cup<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. House points were awarded to students when they demonstrated courage. The challenge to take home the cup was welcomed by all of Year 9 with joy and eagerness.
