Father’s Day Mass and Breakfast<\/h4>\n

Last week we held our Father-Daughter Mass and Breakfast. It allowed us to reflect on the wonderful role that our dads play in our lives. It was lovely to have such a huge turnout of fathers, grandfathers and father figures. We thank Fr. Atiki and all families who joined us for our Father’s Day mass. The mass allowed us to celebrate and give thanks for all very special people in our lives who have the role of \u2018father\u2019. A very big thank you to our Year 10 Parents who assisted in the overall running of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heavenly Father,<\/span><\/p>\n

You entrusted your\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Son Jesus, the child of Mary,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Year 12 Graduation Ceremony – St Joseph\u2019s Hunters Hill<\/b><\/h5>\n

This week all parents in Yrs 7-11 received information regarding the upcoming celebration of the Year 12 Graduation on Wednesday 21 September. This important event is one of the highlights of the College year which is attended by the whole College Community. Students are also expected to be in full College uniform and ensure that their shoes are polished.<\/span><\/p>\n

Staff Development Day – Monday\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n

On Monday 10 October 2022, all College staff will be involved in professional learning specifically focused on Curriculum and Assessment. This day is a student-free day and there will be no classes. Supervision at the College will be available on this day if needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All students return for Term 4 on Tuesday 11 October 2022<\/span><\/p>\n

COVID-19 Update as of Monday 12 September<\/b><\/h4>\n

From the beginning of next week staff, students and visitors who have tested positive to COVID-19 must:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • complete 5 days of isolation from the date they test positive;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • be symptom-free before returning to school. If symptoms remain after day 5 they must continue following NSW Health guidelines to self-isolate and undertake a rapid antigen test;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • complete a rapid antigen test (RAT) and return a negative result before attending school on days 6 and 7 after testing positive to COVID-19; and<\/span><\/li>\n
  • wear a mask on days 6 and 7 when attending school (for all staff and those students 12 years and older).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Due to the higher risk associated with some school settings and activities, the 7-day isolation period will remain for staff, students and visitors who have tested positive to COVID-19 and work at or attend:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • specialist centres;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • support units;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • assisted transport; or<\/span><\/li>\n
    • overnight camps, retreats or excursions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
