These important assessments are the culmination of considerable work and effort over the senior years and provide the opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. The card is used in particular for students to tap in and out of the College for late arrival or early departure. I ask for the support of parents in ensuring that your daughter\/s have this with them everyday.\u00a0 If students have misplaced or lost their student ID card it is a requirement that the card is replaced. Please see below for how to order a new card online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4152 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-28-at-10.44.13-am.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1542\" height=\"428\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><b>COVID Update &#8211; Term 3<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>Guidelines for close\/household contacts<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Close contacts attending school will need to adhere to the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Notify the school;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Conduct a daily RAT and return a negative result <\/span><b>each<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> morning before attending school for 5 school days;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wear a mask indoors except when eating or exercising (mandatory staff and secondary students);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Not permitted to participate in overnight excursions, including school camps;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Not permitted to attend settings identified as high risk by NSW Health (healthcare, aged care, disability care or correctional facilities); and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Any visitor (who is a close contact) is required to advise the school &amp; the \u2018visit\u2019 will be conducted virtually.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Reducing risk of illness in winter<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stay home if unwell.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keep up to date with vaccinations \u2013 including the flu vaccine, which is available from your local GP, pharmacy or Aboriginal Medical Service. Flu vaccines are free for all aged 6 months and older.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Consider wearing a mask indoors except when eating or exercising (NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant has asked all residents across NSW to start wearing masks again in indoor spaces such as shops, public transport and aged care facilities).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have your booster vaccines as advised by NSW Health (including a fourth dose for those over 30 &amp; for those who are medically vulnerable). NSW Health Vaccine FAQs<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.nsw.gov.au\/Infectious\/covid-19\/vaccine\/Pages\/booster.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Get tested immediately for COVID-19 if you become symptomatic and isolate until you receive a negative result.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you receive a positive result follow NSW Health isolation instructions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Practice good hand hygiene by washing regularly with soap and water.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Take a RAT before visiting vulnerable loved ones or going to large gatherings and events.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Practice physical distancing wherever possible.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Additional RATs are available from the College student Administration Office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If your daughter is COVID positive they are not to return to school until they have completed their full seven days isolation. The medical clearance letter received from NSW Health when a case is reported via the Service NSW app or if the PCR test is positive, indicates the isolation period dates.
