While Jesus speaks of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018going away\u2019 \u2013 Jesus going to his death and going back to the Father \u2013 Jesus also promises his return.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jesus said &#8216;do not let your heart be troubled or afraid&#8217; and &#8216;peace I leave you.&#8217; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To the Gospel audience, and to us today, there is hope that the second promised return will also be fulfilled at the right time. Jesus then promises to send the Holy Spirit to the disciples and to the world.
