Year 12 Volunteering Expo 31 August 2026<\/h4>\n

On Monday 31 August, a group of Year 12 students attended the Volunteering Expo at St Joseph\u2019s College, Hunters Hill. The event aimed to inspire young people to consider how they can make a meaningful and lasting impact in their communities beyond graduation. It offered students the chance to explore a wide range of service opportunities, connect with organisations, and reflect on how volunteering can shape their personal growth.<\/p>\n

The evening began in the College Chapel with a welcome and brief liturgy, followed by a BBQ shared with students from other schools. A keynote address from Bruno Maurel, Chairman of Tour De Cure, encouraged students to think deeply about purpose, service, and using their strengths to support others.<\/p>\n

Students then engaged with more than 20 charitable organisations, asking thoughtful questions and exploring pathways that aligned with their interests and values.<\/p>\n

Overall, it was an excellent experience that broadened students\u2019 understanding of service and highlighted the positive impact young people can make within their communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
