{"id":16068,"date":"2026-08-28T10:20:25","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T00:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mscw\/?post_type=article&#038;p=16068"},"modified":"2026-08-28T10:20:25","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T00:20:25","slug":"italian-competition-success","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mscw\/article\/italian-competition-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian Competition Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OUR ACHIEVEMENTS: MAY\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Italian classes \u2014 Year 8 (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6), along with the Year 9 and Year 10 Elective Italian, took part in the Education Perfect International Languages Competition in May.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our school did exceptionally well placing 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nd <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in Italian overall internationally and with many of us receiving Certificate of Credit 500 points, Bronze 1000 points and Silver 2000 Points, which these certificates were given out at the previous assembly\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The competition tested our vocabulary, grammar, listening skills and cultural knowledge. We really rose to the challenge as a school. Our achievements highlight the strength of the Italian program and the enthusiasm we as learners bring to studying Italian.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A Big Thanks to Mr Manica and Ms Navanteri for cheering us along the way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OUR ACHIEVEMENTS: JUL\/AUG\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the End of July from Monday the 27<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to the 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nd <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of August 2026. Our school participated in the 2026 NSW Education Perfect Languages Competition for Italian &#8211; Year 8 (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6), along with the Year 9 and Year 10 Elective Italian. Our School performed well, ending 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in all Languages and First in Italian for the State.
