Taking place on Wednesday, 1 July, this special day serves a dual purpose: honoring the rich legacy of our Foundress, Jeanne-Marie Chavoin, and officially welcoming our newly elected Student Leaders during their formal Investiture Ceremony<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"1,4\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-50\" data-path-to-node=\"2\"><span data-path-to-node=\"2,0\">As a compulsory event for all students, Foundress Day is a beautiful expression of our shared Marist identity, unity, and pride<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"2,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\">The Morning: Mass and Investiture Ceremony<\/h3>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-51\" data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span data-path-to-node=\"5,0\">The day will begin with reverence and celebration at St Joseph\u2019s College, Hunters Hill, where the Foundress Day Mass will commence promptly at 9:30 am<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"5,2\">. During this sacred ceremony, our new College Student Leaders will be presented and badged, stepping into their roles to guide our student body with <i data-path-to-node=\"5,2\" data-index-in-node=\"150\">Virtus Super Omnia (Goodness Above All)<\/i><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"5,4\">. We will be fortunate to have some of the Marist Sisters present for this occasion, and we look forward to welcoming them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-52\" data-path-to-node=\"6\"><span data-path-to-node=\"6,0\">To reflect the significance of the occasion, all students must maintain the highest standard of presentation<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,2\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"7\">\n<li>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-53\" data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\"><span data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Uniform:<\/b> Full College winter uniform is required, which includes the academic skirt (no pants), blazer, hat, and polished shoes<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-54\" data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\"><span data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Preparation:<\/b> Students should eat a full breakfast and enjoy a quick snack during Tutor Group time before boarding the buses<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-55\" data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\"><span data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Hydration:<\/b> Please bring a plastic water bottle only, as alternative containers are not permitted at the venue<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-56\" data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span data-path-to-node=\"8,0\">Students will travel to and from the venue by bus alongside their House Tutor groups<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"10\">The Afternoon: Marist Winter Wonderland<\/h3>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-57\" data-path-to-node=\"11\"><span data-path-to-node=\"11,0\">Upon returning to the MSCW campus, the solemnity of the morning will transition into a vibrant, student-led festival: the <b data-path-to-node=\"11,0\" data-index-in-node=\"122\">Marist Winter Wonderland<\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"11,2\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-58\" data-path-to-node=\"12\"><span data-path-to-node=\"12,0\">This celebration promises an exciting afternoon filled with food stalls and community activities<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"12,2\">. The festivities will reach a thrilling conclusion with the Grand Final of the inter-house Netball Competition and the highly anticipated &#8220;Sisters Talent Showcase&#8221;<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"12,4\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"13\">Supporting a Greater Cause<\/h3>\n<p id=\"p-rc_4f8f5b904a15b3ff-59\" data-path-to-node=\"14\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,0\">In true Marist spirit, our celebration is also an opportunity to give back<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,2\">. Students are encouraged to bring approximately <b data-path-to-node=\"14,2\" data-index-in-node=\"49\">$20\u2013$25<\/b> (available via cash or card) if they wish to purchase food or take part in ticketed activities<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,4\">.
