As we move through the middle of Term 2, students across the College are engaging with important moments in their learning; reflecting on feedback, making decisions about future pathways, and preparing for upcoming assessments. This period offers valuable opportunities for growth, planning, and purposeful action. The following updates outline key events and support for students and families in the coming weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Year 11: Acting on Feedback After Parent\u2013Teacher Meetings\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n

Year 11 students and families recently took part in Parent\/Teacher Meetings in Week 6. These conversations provide timely insight into each student\u2019s progress and offer clear guidance on how to strengthen learning as they continue their senior studies. The most effective time to act on feedback is while it is fresh. Students are encouraged to reflect on\u00a0<\/span>the advice they receive and commit to the changes that will support their success.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Establishing effective routines, planning ahead, and seeking help early are all essential habits in Stage 6. Families can support this process by encouraging students to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Year 8 students will soon begin the process of selecting their elective subjects for 2027. In <\/span>Week 8<\/b>, students will receive information about the subjects on offer, followed by a <\/span>Parent Information Evening in Week 9<\/b>. This is an exciting opportunity for students to take greater ownership of their learning by choosing areas that genuinely interest them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Elective choices allow students to explore their strengths, develop new skills, and engage deeply with subjects that spark curiosity. Families can support this process by discussing:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
