Year 7 Camp is a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen connections with their MSCW \u2018sisters\u2019, foster positive relationships and further develop their courage and resilience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was exciting to see <\/span>Year 7 students participate in a range of activities in Week 7 as part of their Year 7 Camp experience. Students travelled to Stanwell Tops and took part in both challenging and fun activities from the giant swing, to survivor challenges, to high ropes courses, the treeline adventure, archery, orienteering and night time activities to name a few. Each activity encouraged students to support each other and step outside of their comfort zone, which our Year 7 group did with enthusiasm and bravery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Year 7 Camp Cup<\/span><\/i> enabled students to gain House points when they demonstrated dimensions of their <\/span>Marist Compass for Life<\/span><\/i>. Throughout the camp students worked through challenges and demonstrated their <\/span>Sisterly<\/span><\/i> relationships as they supported each other, <\/span>Courage<\/span><\/i> was seen as students took risks and showed their independence,<\/span> Empowerment <\/span><\/i>was key as students became more confident in their abilities and students shared their many<\/span> Gifts <\/span><\/i>with their friends and camp groups. The challenge to take home the cup was welcomed by all of Year 7 with joy and eagerness. A big congratulations to Marcellin House, our 2025 Year 7 Camp Cup winners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A huge thank you to our Year 7 Camp staff team who generously gave of their time to guide Year 7 through the camp experience. The staff team included; Mr Justin Hodges, Ms Leoni Hopkins, Ms Luisa Naventeri, Ms Laura Marshall, Mr Henry Davey, Ms Aleksandra Bridge, Ms Mary Domrow, Ms Melissa Carollo, Ms Brooke Cleggett, Ms Emily Naylor and Mrs Christine Iannello.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
