A toy factory visit that ends in unexpected tragedy, a cruise ship with a whole lot of sea sickness and a masterpiece that takes ten years to paint!<\/p>\n
These were just some of the wonderful storylines explored by the MLC School Junior Theatresports team at Tuesday night’s Theatresports Schools Challenge semi finals. Hosted by Impro Australia and attended by schools from across the Inner West, the MLC School players showcased incredible teamwork, characterisation and imagination while creating entertaining stories on the spot.<\/p>\n
Zara De Mello<\/strong> (Year 8), Annika Perosh<\/strong> (Year 8), Evie Briers<\/strong> (Year 8), April Cookson<\/strong> (Year 8) and Rosy Nichols<\/strong> (Year 7) represented their School proudly and placed FOURTH PLACE in the competition!<\/p>\n The Speech and Drama Studio would like to congratulate the MLC School Primary Theatresports team and their coach, Ms Taylor,<\/strong> on their incredible performance!<\/p>\n Want to give Theatresports a go?<\/strong><\/p>\n We currently have spaces available for new members to join our Theatresports classes, coached by Ms Taylor, on Tuesday afternoons from 3.20pm to 4.50pm in G33. Theatresports is a fantastic way to build confidence, creativity, teamwork and quick-thinking skills, all while having plenty of fun!<\/p>\n New students are welcome to come along for a trial class to see what Theatresports is all about.
