This week, the girls took part in Luminary sessions to prepare for the Elephant Ed presentation. They participated with great enthusiasm in thoughtful discussions about respectful relationships, and I am sure they will treasure what they have learnt for years to come.<\/p>\n
A special congratulations to our new SRC representatives! I am sure they will do a fantastic job and be wonderful role models for all the girls in Year 7.<\/p>\n
We also came together for a special service in the Chapel this week. Year 7 sang loud and proud and, as always, many girls offered to help and read during the service. It is so lovely to see how much the girls enjoy helping out and getting involved in school life.<\/p>\n
A gentle reminder to all girls, families and carers: if a girl feels unwell during the school day, she should visit the Health Centre. There, she will be carefully assessed by our caring and highly skilled nurses, who will contact home if they feel it is necessary. It is important that girls do not contact home directly by phone (phones should always be kept in lockers) or by email. If a family member or carer needs to reach a girl during the day, please call the Studies Office on 8741 3144. For non-urgent matters, you are welcome to email your daughter, but please keep in mind that she may not reply straight away, as the girls are not always checking their emails or laptops. Please rest assured that the safety and wellbeing of the girls is our first priority. These procedures help us keep the girls safe and well looked after, while also helping them grow in independence.<\/p>\n
