Sydney Science Park STEM Cross-Schools Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday, a group of our Year 6 students took part in the Sydney Science Park STEM Cross-Schools Challenge. Working in teams with students from other schools, the girls enjoyed an exciting and successful day of collaboration, problem-solving and discovery. It was a valuable opportunity to tackle STEM challenges alongside their peers and to build new connections. Celebrating 140 Days of Growth in Kindergarten<\/strong><\/p>\n

This term, our Kindergarten girls celebrated a very special milestone: 140 Days of Kindergarten<\/b>, in honour of MLC School\u2019s 140th anniversary. While many schools traditionally celebrate 100 days of learning, our students embraced the opportunity to reflect on 140 days of growth, discovery and belonging within the MLC School community.<\/p>\n

In keeping with this term\u2019s Junior School Value of Growth, the girls arrived dressed as beautiful flowers, plants and other symbols of nature. Their costumes reflected the remarkable progress each child has made during her first year of primary education. From developing new skills and friendships to growing in confidence and independence, the girls have flourished since beginning their school journey.<\/p>\n

It was wonderful to welcome parents, grandparents and other family members to share in the celebration, together with our Principal, Lisa Moloney.<\/strong> Just as every flower grows and blooms in its own unique way, so too do our Kindergarten girls. We look forward to seeing their learning journeys continue to flourish over the next 140 school days and throughout the years ahead.<\/p>\n
