School will conclude at the normal finish time.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, on the last day of Term 3, the Junior School Student Council (JSSC) hosts Stay &amp; Play, an event run by the students, for the students! Year 3 to Year 5 host stalls selling a variety of food, goods and fun activities to raise money to go towards purchasing equipment and resources for the students. This year we have already purchased wet weather games\/activity boxes for each class and play\/sport equipment for lunchtimes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where is Stay &amp; Play?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stay &amp; Play will take place at various locations around the Junior School Campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who attends Stay &amp; Play?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre Kindergarten students are welcome to attend but MUST be accompanied by a parent or carer. If your daughter is at school on <strong>Friday 18 September 2026<\/strong>, please come to Reception at 1.30pm to collect your daughter. If your daughter does not attend school on Friday but you would like to attend Stay &amp; Play, please arrive at 1.30pm and enter via the Red Carpet.<\/li>\n<li>Kindergarten to Year 5 students.<\/li>\n<li>Parents and carers of students in Kindergarten to Year 5 are most welcome to attend, please enter via the Red Carpet. You may take your daughter home early after seeing your daughter\u2019s class teacher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What can the girls purchase at Stay &amp; Play?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be a variety of food and goods to purchase and activities to join.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the cost? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most items and activities are between $2 and $8. This year cards with 10 x squares, with a square worth $1, will be used and must be pre-purchased \u2013 cash will not be accepted at the stalls. This is more environmentally friendly. What should my daughter wear? Students are permitted to wear their MLC School sports uniform so they are comfortable while enjoying the activities during Stay &amp; Play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can my daughter pay for items or activities?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Stay &amp; Play coupon cards can be pre-purchased through the MLC School payment page, with each card worth $10. There is a minimum spend of $20.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/payments.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/product\/js-stay-play-2026\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE COUPON CARDS<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The cards will be provided to your daughter at the commencement of Stay &amp; Play.<\/li>\n<li>Additional cards can be purchased on the day (cash and EFTPOS accepted) from the Red Carpet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Please note: All money raised through Stay &amp; Play will be donated, so refunds for unused tokens will not be given at the end of the event. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>How much money will my daughter need?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is recommended that your daughter purchases cards worth $30 \u2013 $50 (that is three to five cards). When purchasing something at Stay &amp; Play the girls will have their card stamped \u2013 the number of squares equal to the cost.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toy Drive for Stay &amp; Play <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spring is the perfect time for some Spring Cleaning! As you tidy up, if you come across any unused, undamaged, and clean toys, please consider bringing them to your daughter\u2019s class. These toys will be collected as part of the toy drive for Stay &amp; Play, scheduled for the last day of Term 3. We are now collecting toys.
