Lucas Gardens<\/strong><\/p>\n

A group of Year 10 students recently spent time serving at Lucas Gardens School assisting with their social program and supporting students through a range of activities. By sharing their time, energy, and friendship, our students helped create a welcoming and enjoyable environment while developing a deeper appreciation of inclusion, compassion, and community.<\/p>\n

“We were very fortunate to have this opportunity of visiting Lucas Gardens School, and we found it very valuable and insightful. It gave us better understanding of how different disabilities affected the lives of many children, however, we also saw firsthand that their disabilities did not define who they were. As we played bowling and parachute with our buddies, it was incredibly heartwarming to see how excited some of the students were to see one another, greeting their friends with such genuine happiness and enthusiasm.”<\/em><\/p>\n
