\"\"This term, Year 7 students have been developing their knowledge and confidence in first aid, safety and emergency response as part of their Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) learning.<\/p>\n

Students have been learning the DRSABCD emergency response process and how to respond appropriately in a range of common first aid scenarios. They have explored how to recognise and respond to burns, asthma attacks, anaphylaxis, bites and stings, as well as other injuries and emergencies.<\/p>\n

Through practical activities, discussions and scenarios, students have had opportunities to practise making safe decisions, assessing risks and considering how their actions can affect both themselves and others. They have also explored the importance of staying calm, seeking help and communicating clearly during an emergency.<\/p>\n

By building these skills early, Year 7 students are becoming more confident and capable of responding safely and responsibly when faced with an emergency.\u00a0<\/p>\n
